I received 2 postcards today! The first comes to us from Tokyo, Japan. This is Kaminarimon Gate, a famous tourist place. Apparently, it traveled 5725 miles in 70 days...I can't tell what the post mark actually says.

This postcard comes from Switzerland and shows a typical folkloristic scenery of Appenzell. It traveled 5649 miles in 11 days.

This postcard comes to us from Indianapolis, Indiana. It traveled 1453 miles in 8 days (although, really, it looks like it took 6 days based on the post mark. :))

This postcard comes to us from Bedford, Massachusetts. I've always been fascinated by the Salem Witch Trials, and this is definitely someplace I would love to visit some day. It took 4 days and traveled 2207 miles.

This postcard is of Inconfidencia Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was founded at the end of the 17th century and was the focal point of the gold rush and Brazil's golden age in the 18th century. Such an interesting post card! It took 36 days to travel 5840 miles.

The second postcard of the day comes from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This is the Monongahela Incline, which provides its passengers with a panoramic view of downtown Pittsburgh. It began operating in 1870! This postcard traveled 1755 miles in 4 days. Thanks, Eric!
